All these maths posts are interesting and all, but none of them really correspond to how I actually roll, especially on bluefes.I don't typically just roll until I get both students on the banner. A lot of the time I'll roll and if I've gone far enough before I get the student I want, I finish the spark and grab the other. Or a duplicate. At bluefes I always roll at least a full spark, even if I get both students beforehand, because the dupe is useful. I don't really think the utility of the spark system is well captured by just looking at average rolls.
