I’ve automated my tier list methodology and item frequency images. I did this to summon the patch to break everything. It's not a matchup I like, but it is fair on the whole, because just as I can't do anything to a Vinny on lane, when I buy carpet and like 12k worth of other items, Vinnies who aren't cheating or just very good usually can't a lot to me, because two jumps and I'm at their height, hitting them with Torment Pulse and fire in their face and quick melee. People really can't easily handle a Celeste that flies around the map, hovering over them and jumping up whenever somehow gravity brings her down enough. A single double jump and you go from the ground level to the buffs, the low gravity lets you fly off of the ziplines far, you maintain momentum really well. I think I see Knockdown more often on carpet Celeste than I do when I play Vinny.End result of the stacked buffs + the 3200 stamina item is that you fly far, fly high, have great air control, shitton of stamina for dashes and jumps, and if you ever run out of all of this, and you need to leave, the carpet is there, a brief delay away from letting you just fly away. Oh and for extra benefit you can fly after somebody who's on the zipline, and while regular damage would knock you out of Carpet, the Torment Pulse doesn't, and it knocks people down sometimes.
