I know a lot of people complain about Black Panther because he can spitroast a backline in a second but I genuinely believe that Daredevil, Gambit, Black Cat, Hela, Black Widow, and Elsa have made Marvel Rivals considerably worse because they're all what people hated about Bucky in Season 0.Gambit, Black Widow, Hela, and Elsa are way too good at what they do for what little effort you have to put into playing them, like Elsa was literally just Psylocke and Bucky but better. And that's wild because these three particular duelists have completely powercrept their role, playstyle, and two of them simultaneously killed flier meta. Gambit's problem is that he's overtuned and straight up cleanses entire ultimates and believe me I think it's very unfair to get an incredible strange ult only for Gambit to F>E and win and the new magneto team-up made him even better against melee.I'll give Black Cat and Daredevil players a lot of credit because despite both of them being incredibly OP and basically power-creeping all the other divers/flankers, they still require setup, map knowledge, and coordinated diving to really work. The problem is that you cant do flanking if one of these characters are on the opposing team, they will go for solo players and 99% of the time beat you out or have an incredible amount of self-sustain and evasiveness to wear you down to where you have to back down.And I really wouldn't have a problem with Daredevil being really good at this because he's a brawler but he's also a monster on dive. Like at what point does Zhiyong look at the way he's designing new additional duelists and think "Hmmm, maybe I shouldn't make every single one of them a jack-of-all-trades or have their gimmick be a ridiculously strong one"I'm genuinely curious to what they're nerfing in 9.5 because grinding from Celestial to Eternity was really depressing and shallow, because it really is the same 12 characters and in a with 52 playable characters; that's just sad.
