The math makes it objectively worse and lowers your chance of getting both in 200. For a game that releases new banners in batches of 2, pretty much every month, this means you have to spend and skip more on average than you were before. Or whale harder while getting less ligma value. This system only really benefits people who want to get one and skip the other, while everyone else loses the safety net and is more likely to go over the 200 mark, 74% vs 64%. Psychologically, getting lucky is punished when you win the 50/50 or go over 100, now the question is do you want to go from 0-200 AGAIN with another coinflip in the middle, when before getting lucky meant you'd either finish the spark for ligma profit/the other banner, or dip out with crafting mats. >>575497392This would shut me up too. I replied that the old rolling targets we used as metrics were more reliable than a coin toss and then he proceeded to deny reality Is it the exact same equivalency? No because a 2 hit in the new one on 200 pulls is like 60% (still worse btw) but the conversation was about the luck feeling and the possible variance of it, on the old system we used sparks reached, on the new one we will likely use coin toss used, the latter will be horribly incontinence and while double sparking in the new one will be rare I haven't met anyone who doesn't feel like shit when the 2 hit arrives at 300 which is around the point the new one gets better odds
