Her romance after that is very cute and she has nice endings. Good romance.I don't like Cam because she murders your soldiers and it's an evil act to turn a blind eye to a serial killer because you're having sex with them. People say she's more value to the crusade than the handful of people she kills but that's a form of evil in itself to even think that way. She's a spoiled brat used to getting her way and she's mentally ill enough to be a serial killer and even lie to you about it. The one little silver lining of her romance is the ending slide where she leaves because she doesn't want to murder you, which is good/cute writing, but overall I just never play a character who would abide a serial killer just because I'm their friend or lover. It's a similar reason behind why I always kill Marz in RT.

The hope is they've gotten a quick HP boost and some backup healing for the early game and can now level as the better but slower classes, while the bard/alchemist/monk/thief continue their own leveling. I gave it to Jimmy, who I then did mostly warrior stuff with so he only casts a couple biomancy buffs each turn and then otherwise acts like a warrior, spending most of his AP on movement and melee attacks. So you maximize the benefit while minimizing the risk. I would not give it to someone who is casting buffs, debuffs, psyker attacks, etc every turn. The stronger offensive psyker builds like high veil degradation, which increases perils chance, which compounds that item's downside.I guess it doesn't really matter since you get strong enough to kill everything anyway in like chapter 2, but there are a couple hard fights where your psyker randomly dying could set you back. I like consistency even if it means theoretically lower ceiling of damage, which is why I keep veil low and generally don't use the shimmering emulsion on anyone who casts often.

Doomscream was in his bubble, I killed the last enemy to trigger the cutscene with Death from Above, which has now made it so no commands are useable including movement, and all abilities are greyed out even though she has several mp and ap since all she did was DFA. It's probably a rare interaction between DFA doing its damage differently than a normal attack and triggering a cutscene in the middle of a fight.
