One small thing I like about tokon right now is that the plot seems really simple and old school, "the big bad comes to earth and will destroy it unless someone can defeat him in mortal combat". Hopefully there aren't too many cringe twists like people are predicting with the promoter.

Frame drops, CPU rape, streaming dies, black screens, crashes. "Day one patches bro" yeah right, this port was coded by Hitler himself. Blocked in 100+ countries, no Linux, no Deck, forces PSN on Steam. Literal who the fuck thought this was acceptable? Gameplay? Sauceless garbage. Combos feel like they hit a brick wall the second the limiter kicks in. Bland, braindead routes that end in the same boring shit every time. Where's the creativity? Where's the Marvel magic? This has less sauce than a vegan burger. Movement is clunky as hell. Jumping mids, delayed air dashes, weird overheads feels like the game is actively fighting you. Defense is straight up garbage. Tagging starts awkward and restrictive, like they half-assed the one thing that should make this fun. Game feels slow and floaty in all the wrong ways. Animations look cheap and stiff despite all the Disney money. Victory poses and intros? Dogwater. Visuals choppy, everything feels low effort. Sound design is the only thing that doesn't suck and even that's carrying dead weight. This is what we waited for? Another mid tag fighter that can't even run properly on launch. This game feels gimped in so many ways and I don't even know how to put it coherently desu...Movement feels sluggish as hell, weird input restrictions where it feels like it prioritises QCF when I'm trying input DP, tagging and assist felt delayed as hell, combos look extremely similar looking across the cast. some characters having unique movement but they largely feel useless and feel cumbersome to use with the game's overall physics...too expensive, all eye candy and not worth it gameplay wise
