Usually I start off with wulf/akekuri skill to apply heat, then arcane combo, then wulf combo for 3 heat which is usually enough to pop laev's enhanced battle skill, creating combustion into her combo. But when should I open with arcane's skill to trigger corrosion->laev combo, if that matters? I don't get heat stacks that way for laev's skill which generates her ult

Build 4 piece swordsmancer with the two same kits, and you'll see her put in work. She's naturally tanky so you don't need lynx set, and her combo heals a lot even without it. It takes a bit getting used to but start using her BS as a "parry" button and tank hits instead of dodging, you only gain benefits (gain attack stacks, vult stacks, combo trigger, aoe damage). I mostly use her ult to apply an emergency stagger onto the boss since it applies like 25 stagger to enemies close by. Not many cases where you use it as an oh shit button, but moreso if youre lazy and don't want to dodge or engage with boss mechanics like rhadogon fire, new boss's ff14 mechanics and you wanna just sit there to dish out damage without dodging.
