Ended up playing Demon Harem after somebody mentioned it a few threads ago.I went in with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. The girls are hot enough and, for once, a harem game actually makes good use of the harem: plenty of scenes involve more than one girl in some way and their interactions are fun. Scene variety, in general, is pretty good, going from basic to some more fetishy play, BDSM, and pregnancy. The sexual training aspect gives some scenes kind of a corruption angle that keeps even the more basic ones from being too boring.All that said, it's still an AVANTGARDE game. It would be generous to say that the RPG gameplay is designed to waste your time, because I suspect not a single thought went into anything resembling a design process. The battles and exploration have enough substance for a game a quarter as long as this. The best thing you can do in combat is to spam your strongest attack skill, which for much of the game is the first one each character acquired. That means none of the other systems really matter, which is kind of a shame because there are stats and skills unlocked through doing different sex acts with the girls and I do like the idea of sexual development affecting combat builds. That's an apt summary of the whole thing: some interesting ideas buried under an abysmal game. I still like it more than rest of AVANTGARDE's output, but that's not saying a whole lot.
