I have 1k hours in the game and I don't even know who the carry and support characters are supposed to be aside from the few obvious supports (rem, paige). The game is so aim and movement dependent that any character can be the carry if the persona controlling them is skilled enough. In top down games like dota and league you have a lot less finite control of your character and there's no real way to overcome a character's predetermined role by just being really good at stuff like aiming and wall jumping.
