ya'know, as i've been transitioning my lighting setup over to CS, i've found something really funnyone of the supposed draws of CS was that they could significantly reduce the number of patches necessary for their lighting overhauls to workand they can, if you're okay with your windows looking like shitif you want CS windows to look anywhere near as good as Lux windows with ENB, you have to get their own janky version of it call Window Shadows Ultimateyou also have to patch the shit out of it if you run interior mods, as the edited windows will be where doors and new interior wings will beonly, you don't get the benefit of almost a decade of precedent work and mods, and the patches for Window Shadows Ultimate barely cover a tenth of the stuff that has Lux patchesand support for older mods? forget it. sucks to suck if you use stuff like EEK or older dungeon modsfucking CSeverytime i try it, it's a massive pain in the dick

I've had to temporarily abandon the onehanded warpick build in favor of just using Okin because of the frost enchantment and the fact that it does like twice as much damage as my iron warpick.As much as I like reforging to the masses, I hate that it introduces warpicks at the iron material level then forgets about the weapon type until ebony. The only thing approaching an intermediate warpick is one you have to unlock by doing the thirsk meadhall quest on Solstheim, and I really don't want to rush into the dragonborn DLC at a low level. There is also an elven warpick, but it's two-handed, annoyingly.

I really don't like how formulaic vanilla weapons are where you have to have one of each weapon type at each tier, e.g. 1 dagger, 1 sword, 1 axe, 1 mace, 1 bow, 1 warhammer, 1 waraxe, 1 greatsword. RFM adding a million random kitbashed items at random tiers makes weapons feel more unique and special, like having both a fancy rapier with a golden handguard and a carolingian-style broadsword both be onehanded swords at the steel material tier.
