Your first time through you should prestige at 60 and not wait until 70 because your only reward for getting to 70 is from the prestige daily which you can't get the first time. Some of the featured builds are kind of fun, but also dead simple for the most part. This game had a new approach to pvp, something we haven’t seen before and it’s called cooldowns. Classes do like 10 times more damage during their cooldowns, other versions of wow was not nearly that intense. Theres just a lot of new stuff going on in coa and it’s pretty fun I guess to try out new ways to play classic wow, which already uses like the best combat systems. But it’s definitely not perfect, im not thrilled to still have guild content, I feel like we could easily have just made a better system than that lol because I don’t want to play with guilds, I hate that shit.

Its a team game, yes classes CAN just do the free for all thing, which was one of the balancing decisions so that things weren’t extremely role reliant. But, they’ll do way better as their chosen role. Like ranger for example, try flanking a group on a ranger. Thats what ranger is suppose to do, you go in at an angle basically, and now they have to react to that. The ranger can slip away and be annoying as fuck usually. You technically CAN flank like that as any ranged class, but ranger is the best at it by far. I guess playing shadow hunter was the biggest eye opener for me that this game had a clever design philosophy and it was meant to be played a certain way, it really makes a difference. Like there’s so much strategy involved which is probably eluding your mind currently, you don’t consider it a viable strategy but you just havent tested it out enough. Like when im playing against an annoying felsworn, they’re always with their team and are the main long ranged damage dealer. Everyone is supporting the felsworn basically because that’s his role is to do that. And this just more or less often happens by accident, as people intuitively play to their classes strengths.
I don't know why people are excited about MC, Onyxia, and M+ all dropping on the same weekend, after only 1 week of ZG. So we'll be doing BWL in 2 weeks, AQ40 in 3, Naxx in a month? How can anyone enjoy this? Even the hardcore players are going to burn out. Ascended ZG had so many bugs in it. I can only imagine it's going to be worse as time goes on. Even from a $$ point of view, they would make more money waiting at least a month so people can swipe while they accumulate their bis for that tier and prep for the next one. I've already cleared ascended ZG with my guild, but I want to enjoy raiding on alts and gearing up my main/prepping for Molten Core and Onyxia. There's no time to do anything.

Cultist in theory is meant to be like the “siegebreaker”. Hes the wooden pike smashing against the castle door. When you have a cultist with your cox, you can expect some very medieval shit going on like you’ll definitely notice a difference in how your front line penetrates their group in a team fight. Spider venomancer is a really obvious one. It defends stuff. The eggs are actually extremely powerful when placed in the hallway of wsg, it makes it very difficult to chase. Also they can be placed on the flag and it’s enough to kill almost anyone. Their cocoon skill is enough to secure a kill by itself and they have like decent damage. It’s a cool class theme although there’s lots of waiting involved I think, because that’s how spiders hunt they just wait for their prey to come to them.

I am going to be honest with you bros.After they shutdown CoA I quit WoW completely. I've been playing it since 2005 on various private servers until landed a job and was able to play on official servers, but TWW into Midnight has completely killed my respect for the devs, and I quit official WoW. CoA was the most fun I had in WoW since like WotLK but I'm now 34yo and I think I will never be able too enjoy basic 9 classes WoW ever again after playing this server. Blizzard won't care anymore, and we will never get another CoA level of private server. So when it will get shutdown, I'll just move on from WoW completely.

It's a server full of the worst decisions. The people I've met on OctoWow have been a mix of former Turtle players (many using the same names and same guilds) and brand new players who are taking the opportunity to not miss out on Turtle Wow this time.
