Serious question, why was Destiny set up as long as it was having set amount of sources for rewards and limits to things and being at the mercy of the weekly reset so heavily? You go back to Edge of Fate new and how it was being hyped as basically curing cancer when they dropped the limits of things and in a weird way it kind of highlighted how not super rewarding the game always was, it wasn't like RNG wasn't still a factor. I really want to play the old campaigns again, I've been playing Destiny 1 and while not everything was great, it was fun to follow a narrative from beginning to end.

On its face, "use the gun for a while to make it stronger" is fine, but asking for 700 kills on every recent primary (including ones with no particular affinity towards killing large amounts of enemies) and hundreds of kills on single-target weapons with scarce ammo is deranged.
