It also had functional jumpjets, energy shielding and the strenght multipliers so the thing definitely works like MJOLNIR Gen II mostly, no idea if the suits can nullify falls though.I was also thinking about the Reach armor abilities since those could be reused and given to them, or altered versions, as NPC-unique abilities per specialist, they already have plausible lore to explain that as stolen tech since the Banished were on Reach salvaging everything they came across in Shadows of Reach, and they even captured several sites like SWORD base, which means they got direct access to the dummy modules of both the UNSC and Covenant forces that died or left behind hardware during the Fall of Reach. The only ability that I think they really don't need to reverse engineer would be jetpacks since Brute jetpack technology seems more advanced than the UNSC's if we take into account jump distance, sustained flight time and hovering stability from both Halo 3 and Infinite's display of Brute jump packs.

So I just finished playing the Bungie Halo campaigns for the first time in years. Had a lot of fun. Are the 343 campaigns worth playing? I've never heard anything good about them.

It's like they took the second level of CE and tried to make it a whole game, which sounds good in theory, buts it's incredibly boring. The whole game feels like side quests and there's no real variation in biomes or environments.The story is also another attend at a soft reboot since the start of the game has a massive time skip hoping people will forget the events of 5 whilst trying to start a new saga with the games ending.Infinite tries to appeal via nostalgia by attempting to return to a more faithful art style but ends up looking like everything is made of Lego. The grapple hook is fun but honestly I think it's mostly because it detracts from how mid/boring transversing the game would be otherwise

Just completed Halo: Fall of Reach Audiobook.It was alright, nothing crazy. Was expecting a bit more on the battle itself. I don't really care for Arbiter as a character, and his armour sux compared to the default Halo 2 armour, but his inclusion and playability in the game added a new sort of flavour to Halo, to contrast with the humans and Master Chief. The humans in Halo 2 were written too sassy for my liking (especially Cortana and Johnson).
