Even if the countdown hits zero, she's not going to die. I have a end-game Tifa at level 42. As for Deathblow, Deathblow is a materia that allows you to roll for a 100% crit but have a shit hit rate. This is combined with the materia "Added-Cut" so that I can roll Deathblow on tifa and still get a basic attack even if it misses. Deathblow is really good on Vincent and Tifa if you don't want to use their Limit Breaks. Both characters also get weapons that allow them to never miss later on, so Deathblow is incredibly useful then too.

Just beat Final Fantasy II Pixel Remaster.It was okay. Don't know how much they changed the game balance but it was too easy. Story and characters felt like they could use a good remake, it's simplistic but there's a good foundation. Kinda weird that Leila and Gordon are arbitrarily removed from your party but they're just waiting at the castle rather than having a real reason to not be in your party.
