They need an enormous bless to win a fair fight though and even if they are any fort recruit you can't get them in the kind of numbers you need to use fliers effectively in big battles, and you don't get ozelotls like ea and la. Jag warriors are way better in most cases, but now they are cap only.Also many of your mages from ea just straight up lose paths (blood) and get nothing in return to compensate for it.The turkey mages are cool and fun but they can't carry the nation. Coutls are cool but no slots for boosters lol.Their scale troops are massively outclassed in MA too, and you need a fucking massive bless to make your sacreds work so you have to sack your scales. But you can't control your dominion with blood sacrifice like ea/la either so those garbage scales are spreading everywhere

>>577285759I don't think they were changed at all. In fact, since 6 took a bunch of spells from air to make glamour, you could argue they actually have fewer tricks up their sleeve now. You could still win with them if you can deter or fight off rushes and get lucky, but that could be said of most bad nations.

At least the riders defense skill kept the whole unit alive, and they had uses for making your battle lines longer, attack rearing and countering low attack units. The horses are 10 def 7 prot now and probably just get mulched by anything.
