With the way PDR works with armor masterful form ends up giving you around 30% less physical damage taken from hits. That's what makes it so strong at baseline.

I like PoE1 and i'm still playing this league. I think people that are playing 1 and 2 will probably burn out on 1. I don't play 2 and i'm enjoying this league and i suspect that's the primary difference in opinion.I do think this league is a little weak on new stuff but maybe as the game gets older people get more demanding idk. I feel like buildwise you only got luminary and pacts this league. There wasn't really any new archetypes or skills, merc bitch is sort of new but everyone was mad at the start. There's also the cool ring but thats sort of a buff to existing builds based on helm / gloves
