Plus the devs blatant favoritism extends to things like simply ignoring issues she's always had like her crooked hitbox that hides 90% of her head hitbox even when she's standing still (feel free to try and 1shot her with reaper in the training room 5 times in a row) Ana is the most despicable character in the game and deserves to get deleted along with every character that gets used to justify her malignant existence.

I have a bit of a meta take on why players are so fucking bad and lack fundamentals now.Back when I was fresh to Overwatch, around 2017, there were dozens of "educational" creators who produced content based around learning how to play Overwatch. VOD reviews, guides, theory, and crash courses were the most common form of Overwatch content. Whether they were actually good players or not, guys like Stylosa or Jayne at a minimum provided resources that allowed players to quickly develop their fundamentals on the game's macro. What we may perceive as rudimentary is completely lost on new players. Where to stand, when to push, when to leave, what different types of ultimates are for, composition types, etc.The game's top creators have no interest in teaching players how to play. Blizzard has done nothing to encourage this type of content and even actively sabotages the content creators around their games. Players see people like Aspen or Frogger smurfing on diamond players in 6v6 and try to replicate their playstyle, not knowing that they should be watching Apply or Rakattack demonstrate real fundamentals and chops. The issue is, while those streamers may appeal to older, experienced players, your average zoomer is going to get bored with Apply's meta rants or Rakattack's quiet demeanor.That's where the edutainment creators came in and made a huge difference. None of those exist anymore, at all.People just aren't being taught how to play Overwatch anymore.
