The attack on Super Earth was one of the most underwhelming major updates if you ask me. Gameplay wise, it was meh, and it didn't feel important enough in game. It was all just flavor text.Cyberstan with the overtuned Vox spawn was the best update. You're incentivized to go there and do the thing because you get something in return, even if it's paltry. Helldivers doesn't have any sort of end game resource sink, so your only motivation is exposing the map (which you can do at a glance based on topography in most cases) or 5 random artillery shells (2 of which are useless). Stim Pistol is for healing teammates and SEAF Soldiers, while Dynamite lets me blow up Warpgates without waiting for them to open up.Cadian Armor + HMG is simply a match made in heaven, you can use it like a heavy assault rifle so long as you crouch and iron sights it, and the reduction in reload time is just chef's kiss. Not just handy for breaking Crusher helmets, but also destroying base defense structures and mowing down anything from Fleshmobs to Wretch waves, and even for DPSing down Crushers. A Guard Dog is great for keeping Wretches off your back, and cutting down on the Watcher spam. MG/Gatling Sentry is good at chaff clear, and Gatling can even sometimes bring down Crushers by themselves with good placement. Airstrike is mainly used as a Warpgate killer due to its generous uses per rearm, and also great for wave clear due to its wide effect area.

I expected the void source planet to be garbage based on all the complaints but it looks really nice. They captured the twisted feel and it gives a nice variety to the squid front.It is however complete garbage as the main planet. Compared to colonies, mega cities, factory worlds and cave worlds it's nothing. This should have been a normal addition due to void corruption or something and not the main fucking planet. It offers zero new gameplay.
