Well, this is my least-favorite route so far. There are some fun scenes, carried largely by VA delivery, but on the whore it's kind of a slog and seemed pretty badly written. I suppose one needs a humiliation fetish or something to relate to that one.It's strange how the story reads like a worse copy of Morishima route.

The love route ending has her maintaining agency and basically springing the whole thing onto MC before the final moment of insecurity where our two characters finally embrace each other physically and emotionally.

The love route also spends a lot of time on notebooks subplot and I'm still unsure why it was there at all. There's some loose connection with Umehara's notebook during bad end, but idk why game needed to establish the fact that apparently everyone has same-type notebook and everyone keeps losing them for MC to find. We never get to actually read what was so revelatory in Ayatsuji's notebook, so I assume it's just All work and no play makes Tsukasa a dull girl end to end. The love ending amounts to "I'm just a girl after all, disregard that you kid sister is selling adult magazines on Christmas community market".There a few scenes in the story that hit extremely well, like picrelated and the whole "I don't wear makeup because I figure it wouldn't present the right message right now", but they can't salvage the whole imo.

To me it's perfectly appropriate for Amagami. MC just gets shat on and keeps routinely coming for more, we don't even get any of his internal monologue to explain why he'd keep doing it. There's back to back multiple conversations that all go like this: (a topic is offered) - MC opines on it - "God, you're such an idiot". >It's a very different type of story than Morishima's route since this one went through evolution while that one was much more static.It's funny because my takeaway about which one's static seems to be literal opposite of yours .>and lastly, on notebooksAfter the whole Ayatsuji notebook arc, MC finds another notebook, and tries to figure whose it is, only to discover it was Sensei's. After that, he finds ANOTHER notebook that turns out to belong to Umehara. Those are all separate events. They don't lead anywhere and don't inform any characters. In the bad end if MC and Umehara end up being foreveralones, Umehara burns a notebook which we can assume was that same notebook, but again it doesn't really connect to anything meaningful. There's so much time spent on notebooks subplot I wouldn't be surprised if it was marketing a physical notebook that came with a limited version of the game or something.And also Ayatsuji got pissed on by a dog.

We also get to see her actually parlaying about the tree. All of that I feel was a much better insight into her character than the notebook arc and classroom chimpout.
