To secure a skin, you were looking at 600 or 200/100 exchange tickets for cheaper skins. So 5,500 tokens to guarantee the most expensive skin. Saving for half a year (including events, protocol, rewards, others) would normally give you ~2,200 tokens.When pulling in a banner I usually got most of the furniture set and some skins within 19 pulls (1,900 tokens). At that moment I had ~200 exchange tickets accumulated, that I used for missing pieces or skins I didn't get (I skipped some skins I didn't like).In all the years I've played GF1 (~6 years? I have 16 full furniture sets), only once I got the 600 skin within 19 pulls. For the rest I just resigned myself or eventually got it via black card.The other side of the gacha pull is that you get black cards by getting skin dupes (works even with free skins). When you have enough black cards, you can exchange for past skins.Also with every banner, 1~3 skins were available for purchase with gems. You can buy gems directly with money or slowly get them with weeklies, first clear missions, ranking, events and other ways like small contests.So all in all, it was a good system to get various skins in different ways without having to be p2p. But you obviously needed to prioritize skins/banners and understand you couldn't get everything since 5,500 tokens per banner is unrealistic. GF1 had tons of banners and skins (110+ banners with ~5-6 skins per banner + gem skins), while GF2 barely has like 5 banners with 2 skins each?At a glance GF2 system seems a bit harsher since you can't farm pink tickets and we're getting way too many banners for the measly number of tickets we get. Seems like we'll be able to guarantee 1 skin every 4~5 banners, which is actually better than GF1 but painfully slow.
