I'm realising that these ingame cutscenes, the ones done to involve your character, have been entirely pointless since TWW, and they're just the writers jerking themselves off.They were previously mostly done just because your character is heavily involved in whatever it was about, the focus even. Like Aggramar trying to ambush and confront you in the middle of the Argus campaign, Anduin telling you to go through the portal to Oribos, the Dragon Aspects dubbing you 'tha bes' and such.TWW and Midnight, you are pretty much just here existing. You are off to the side doing nothing. You might not even be initially in frame and they just have you wander aimlessly in shot. The most exciting thing your character has done in these cutscenes for the world soul saga so far has been point out a giant monster that somehow managed to sneak up behind Arator, because he's that much of an idiot.This current chapter and what few scenes it has really didn't need them. They're doing nothing different they couldn't have just done in game while we run around like wankers ignoring it or whatever, but they gotta simulate we give a shit by having us just... wander in from the right and barely look at them.

Krosus died to DoTs as our demon hunter hit the water and died. We got the achievement for killing the boss, but the chest with loot didn't spawn because he destroyed the final section of bridge. We had to open a GM ticket to get the loot lol. If that healer had thrown even a couple of DPS abilities we wouldn't have been in that position, and after that happened we benched him. Then he threw his tantrum and we kicked him. Ego = checked

I tried getting into a few expansions before this one but I just felt pressured to climb mythic keys and found it very cumbersome for me with the time I have to learn these different rotations and skill assignments, etc.I just hopped back in for midnight season 2 and just removed everything from my ability bar except the SBA and just went and did world quests and delves to get some cool gear. It just makes the game so much more accessible to hop in and play for little bits and pieces without having to grind mythic keys.Feels like old school simple WoW in a way!
Generally speaking, tanks were seen as leaders and the ones to rally around because it was assumed they knew the fights so well and could navigate instances effectively.As tanking became fucking braindead easy, this assumption was then replaced by the idea that if a DPS was so well geared that they topped meters, then they were of course the ones that knew the dungeon and fights. Baldie should stop evading. Having an angry SPriest yelling at the raid was therefore a "better" choice than having a tank leader who may not know the fights.Now that the ecosystem has changed again, the general consensus is that a healer leader both guarantees some sort of HPS and since healing was seen as the tard wrangling role since literally 2006 it makes sense that they are now the ones expected to lead.

Every time I run Temple I have to explain that I as a healer cannot soak an orb on the last boss because it reduces my healing and the Tank probably shouldn't either because he'll take more damage and probably expose to the Guardians. Then the orbs come out, I ping, DPS don't move at ALL because they're busy tunneling adds and jorkin it to the damage meter and we all explode. It's three orbs, three DPS, one soak each like what is difficult about thi I'm arguing with someone telling me it's my job to soak and I ask how I'm supposed to heal with a 33% or whatever healing reduction debuff and they just say 'it doesn't make sense for me to soak it.
