Alright, I've had time to digest the current patch story. Here's what I think.It's better than whatever the hell the Void shit was building up to. Not a whole lot better, just some noticable betterness, but we're talking about a low bar in general here.I'm kind of seeing everything they were trying to do and I can't help but think that this is a story that absolutely would've been better served as filler for the Last Titan. Even the elements of it I don't like would just make more sense if this were actually a plot spurred on by that last Drakkari Troll who's bitter about his empire falling.We didn't have to emasculate the Amani by saying they summoned some yet another different kind of God to kill the C'Thraxxi they build their reputation on, we could've just said the Drakkari did that, and that Ula'tek absolutely bodied General Vezax. I mean Ulduar is right there on the same continent as Zul'Drak. And there's a gigantic unexplained Snek tail beneath Gundrak leading to fuck knows what, Zul'Drak was just a zone on top of god knows what, it was all untapped potential.And more importantly, there's a fallen world tree right below it. The place the Emerald Nightmare got its start before Xavius set up shop in the Rift of Aln, which the world tree roots reach.But nah, I guess there's not enough Drakkari to make a girl boss hero.
