Most of the content is at level cap and lvling very much feels like a chore, in fact this is the part that filters a lot of people that play vanilla/wrath/bc, because they see how easy and sluggish it is and think that's how the game is going to be now. But legion as a whole is very different than even modern expansions because of It's unique mechanics, mostly the artifact weapons and how gaining power through them works. Legion is great if you like to stay busy in a single character, there is A LOT to do, and I really fucking mean a lot. You could be playing 8h a day and still feel like you can progress, world quests, dungeons, professions are a huge grind as well as most recipes are tied to drops/quests reputations. There's also a ton of casual content as people love doing old raids for achievements, mounts, transmog, It's a decent way to make money as well. And pretty much everything from the past expansions is soloable. It's pretty good and you don't really have to push mythic if you don't wan it normal/hc raiding is quite easy, although tauri is notorious for taking a very long time to script shit and legion is absolutely massive when it comes to scripting, so many quests and systems, phasing and everything else. Suramar alone probably has more scripting to it than all vanilla raids combined. So we might be in a situation where the raid releases (we still don't have raids) and we're just stuck farming it for a year.
