One of the most annoying fucking things with most models is that reasoning counts toward token count, but you can't exactly predict how long it will be even with low reasoning efforts. So if you limit answers to 1000 tokens and the reasoning exceeds that, you get empty replies. But if you set them a lot higher, every time the model decides to keep thinking short, you end up with a massive wall of text unless you watch like a hawk and press the stop button every time.

v5 is so much better than 4.5there's still some annoying shit like older models (hard to make genuinely dark images that don't have the character lit up like you're pointing a flashlight at them) and they added some new issues (weird subtle vertical banding I get sometimes) but it's so much easier to get an image I think is good enough compared to 4.5

How does GLM 5.3 compare to 5.2. I've been happy with 5.2, I'm annoyed about the filter but it's also surprisingly lenient sometimes, talking to sex offenders and the 1000 year old loli vampire doesn't trigger it sometimes. Is 5.3 smarter?
