Just finished my second playthrough of FF8 and the first FF game I've finished a second playthrough of. I actually find it to be the most replayable game since it took a while to learn the battle system but once you do, you can carry that knowledge back to the beginning of the game to be really overpowered. Plus, the Enc-None ability takes away a lot of annoying random encounters so half of Disc 3 and all of Disc 4 basically become cutscenes and boss rushes.

Does anyone else here like to toy around with the bosses during their second playthroughs? I already know how to get overpowered and beat them so I'm just interested in seeing the bosses gimmicks and testing how different things work on them and how abilities interact. I'm discovering a lot of cool tricks that way especially in FF5 but also in other games like FF8.

>>579270859Probably decent enough because they are all the same color. Spd kind of is always, active/useful unlike some other stuff. Ninja does give slightly better value with color bonus (+1 to both rather than just one) than thief if you aren't locked into maxing one stat. Also, note that sometimes raw stat value of certain 3* are so high that it may offset color bonuses with low star. Hunter is one of those cases.
