LunaTranslator fork with overlay functionality. Realtime is janky but snipping via hotkey and mouse drag works pretty well.
>>
>>579272231
Good stuff, I'll have to use this for EN fan translations that don't seem right. There's this EN translation of Wily & Right no RockBoard that was done 50 years ago, and so far it's the ONLY English translation of said game.

Incredible! Maybe my Flydigi Vader 5 will finally behave in certain instances.
>>
>PadForge's DS4+5 emulation finally works properly now that it emulates the controller speaker, and nu-games now detect it
Oh sure, Hifihedgehog, it was Steam or the game being cracked. Whatever, glad it works now.
>>
>>579276080
>PadForge
It seems it does what the Steam Input API does, but goes the extra mile. I'll try it rn, thx for the heads up.
>>
>>579276505
It's a lot to learn, but fairly intuitive and allows you to take any input device (or combination of input devices) hide them, and 'reforge' them as any other kind input device (or combination of input devices)

It's effectively DS4Windows, SteamInput, Antimicro, and Gamepad Phoenix all in one. It's not without some likely vibe-coded jank, but overall I'm very impressed with it.
>>
You can get really creative with it and take a flight throttle and stick and create a Hydro Thunder setup not too far off from the arcade. Similarly you can remap the same HOTAS as an Xinput controller for games like Ace Combat 7, which does not properly support such a controller setup otherwise. Recently I took a MIDI knob on a mini keyboard and mapped it to an Atari style paddle via Xinput X axis.

>>
>>579276823
My keyboard's got a similar knob, but it's only for volume. Would be cool if I were somehow able to configure it for paddle games.

Last I checked it didn't work properly on a lot of modern boards and hardware but it may have been updated. Anyway here's an open source alternative:

I always found hwinfo64 a little clunky and ugly.

I’m going to try the Steam Controller with a DualShock and spoofing them as a pair of Joy-Cons on Dolphin so I can use both as a Wii Remote and Nunchuck.

It's a shame that I can't get the DS3 mode to get detected by DSHidMini, but PadForge is very good from the little I've used it yea. Been looking for a replacement for x360ce for years

Great game! Did I have to make a memecomp just to beat this game? No, but it was extremely worth it.

Did you know that Decap Attaack was actually the Easy mode of Magical Hat? At first I thought it was a simple reskin, but they modified the levels to be slightly easier.

What is your endgame emulation device(s)?

Here's my dream setup:
>Desktop PC with 1080p monitor = Everything up to Xbox 360
>Android Phone with 8BitDo FlipPad Gen 2 (Improved version) = Gameboy, GBC, Game Gear, Virtual Boy
>Retroid Pocket Nova = Everything up to PS2

My AW17R3 has around 30 years’ worth of games on it.

I fucking hate this thing but for emu that's interesting, I'll try it (hopefully it doesn't add nasolabial folds to ratchet or every other games ever, but I'm sure it will, somehow)

DLSS5 will save the Saturn?
>>
>>579283614
It's not totally arbitrary, only the latest RTX cards support FP4 which will be the only way to get decent performances out of this fucking trash, the currently leaked version is FP8 and it's more demanding than path tracing, all to make every character look 30 yrs older.

Got free version of teknoparrot, using gunmote for mode 4 of dolphinbar to get smooth aiming like the Wii. Playing House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn.

Ho ho ho.

I've got some rocks that I'm smoking while playing Gauntlet: Dark Legacy on PCSX2. Life's good.

>>579291553
somehow this is the only one that actually looks significantly different. I wonder how it looks in the Sly games, and maybe timesplitters
>>
>>579298472
cant see myself actually using it though, it either looks almost identical, or it changes the image so significantly that its not the original artstyle, maybe its cool to replay a game ive already finished before with it on though? but it would have to make it look very different for it to be worth it.
>>
Of two minds on DLSS5, it's terrible and completely arbitrary but it's also incredibly interesting. I feel like the tech combined with a prompt has a ton of potential, like hey Jensen make this game cel shaded or look like PS1 or any number of crazy ways to change a game's look. Does it add lag? I could only imagine it does.

One limitation of webm/mp4 on here is that it's limited to 1080p, that said he could definitely save these with higher quality and less posterization. Webm's probably better overall here though.
>>
>>579301450
Same
The concept is excellent, in practice right now it's like their dataset is just daylight photos of old people so that's all dlss 5 tries to do everywhere. I don't think it's denoising enough of the image for a system prompt to have a big effect, instead someone should find a way to retrain it on better data because I hate the blue hue it gives to everything and I hate what it's trying to do to every characters.
>Does it add lag
not inherently, it only add some if you use reflex or I'd assume framedelay on RA, because it's just heavy on the gpu.

Break out the Wii remotes, it's time to play one of my favorite genres the on-rail shooter.

It's better yet worse than I thought, only one slider actually do anything that's not a basic color shift. At least you can actually turn that off which is great, and the NR does increase the realism of the lightning slightly but it's very subtle occlusion and bounce, and the only really noticeable thing is how it turns everyone into hags, along with contrast/sharpen effect.
It does so little it's actually funny. Without good base graphics it can't do much, it's worthless on older games.
I would much rather have reshade actually hook depth properly and then use rtgi but sadly reshade devs are more autistic than even RAdevs and never explain how to use their shit shaders.
>>
it's useless for old games because it was trained on real photos and movies

It is, except it seems at some point Returnal's DLSS implementation got fucked up and is massively unstable and leaks VRAM. Is it the game, Windows, or Nyidya's drivers? Who knows? I need buy that 20gb ayy card already. Fuck this noise.

Correct, Magical Hat has tons of lava in the first level whereas Decap Attack has less.
