I only really got bored once they started dating, but that is somewhat a personal issue on my part, I'm sure many or maybe even most people would really enjoy all the time spent on dating. It kind of has all the failings of moege that usually result in me getting bored; formulaic school life events, zero-stakes drama that gets resolved instantly, most of the cast largely dropping out of relevance, yada yada. I think what I'm most upset about is the removal of the system where heroines confess to the player if you let their love gauge fill up too much without confessing yourself. I literally played Amakano 1 just for that and it was my favorite part of the game by a significant margin, i.e. seeing the heroines just get so antsy to date the MC that they end up going for the kill even if you don't act yourself. Was a huge disappointed to see the game force the protagonist confessing.
