Finally tackling my childhood legend~Bible Black is one of those dark hentai I only knew about because the internet gave them tons of aura to make them seem like some media that is made for the edgy type of viewer. This anime and Euphoria were like a scary tale for the child me, and I never bothered to even check them out because I was very innocent back then.......Skip nearly 30 years later, now that I started reading visual novels, Sei Shoujo became a name I keep seeing most of the time I browse the VN communities... his works seem like they are somewhat very pleasing for the eroge players, and seeing how he is still doing what he is best known for even to this day, the VN community loves him...So as someone who has no idea who this guy is? Trying him out seems needed... my choice ended up being easily his most famous work, something I have history with, and also a game that has a somewhat interesting premise... magic, who doesn't like them dark rituals @_@ Sooo my journey with this game and its sequel started......First and before anything, I played the Ren'Py version for both games. Why? Because no matter how well I searched the internet, I couldn't find a working/guaranteed safe version of this game to go for.... seeing that the Ren'Py version gives me 2 choices, one of them being very identical to the original experience? I just accepted it....Other than the known problems with this engine, I just saw some minor problems here and there, not big enough to ruin the experience. But as usual, voices keep getting skipped when you go to the next line, this is easily the main reason why I hate using this engine..... also how taking screenshots is a bother... *sigh* I really hate Ren'Py... but other than that, it was fine...

Hard for me to evaluate if this pass is better or not due to this cherrypicking, it's like I need to find wholly new examples from the ground up. That said, I don't have that much fascination with C+C's script in particular. I like Romeo quite a lot but I don't quite have the reverence for his prose specifically that others do - maybe due to not appreciating that level of language mastery even to this day.
