I had Asairo downloaded, and it is a famously impossible to translate kamige. Here is what I did.I installed the game. I looked through its files and saw Scenario.mpk. I dragged the file into GPT Astra and asked it to extract the script. 10 minutes later it spat out formatted files for the extract script alongside instructions on how to inject the script back into the game, and notes on various quirks of the JP script's formatting. I then asked it to take the first script file (900~) lines and translate it to English while conveying any kanji puns in a way that would be understandable to an English audience, then print it in a spreadsheet for me when it was done. 30 minutes later, it spat out the first script file, which looks like pic related. I could inject it back in if I wanted using its instructions. This was maybe 1 or 2 minutes of "work" for me in total, consisting of thinking of the prompts and installing the game.I don't think people realize just how fucking dead translation is.
