I didn't enjoy Kanta's screen time very much for a long time. I understand that she was intentionally made annoying and useless because she had the most to grow. But the growing parts were just not very fun. The first time I actually liked the focus on her was in Yanagi's event. I think her relationship with Yanagi is her strongest dynamic and that event finally put some weight on it without turning it into a joke.The next time Kanata was actually pretty good was in Tenne's event. She is way more of a proper protagonist at this point and not actually annoying.The "Truth Squad" relies on the Yanagi/Kanata dynamic again a lot and I think that actually really worked as the emotional core. My main beef with the event is that Isuzu didn't really get any big moments. Irene got some great pay-off and Tenne is kind of easy to sway in general. But Isuzu's situation is pretty much the worst and I can't accept that she gets over it so easily. Especially because one of her major traits is uncovering secrets exactly to protect her sisters...Irene is the better blonde loli by a country mile though and has way better protagonist energy.
