So I have tried everything: v4 Flash/Pro, GLM Flash/Pro, Kimi, Astra, Fable 5/5.1, everything, and there is absolutely no change. 4.6 is still the king, but just by a tiny margin.For me, what started to improve things was when I started using SillyBunny and using agents. Just inputting a lot of "objects" that track the state of the story, keep it D&D-like, and build a "game engine" beneath everything basically drastically improves everything. I even use a tiny model like 3.8 27B, and it works really well.I think the tech is stuck in 2023. SillyTavern itself is still using a single-chat architecture like what we got with ChatGPT. No agents, no overachieving "engine" beneath it that uses all of the model's capacity.
