I played Vanilla through Cataclysm because my friends were playing and it was a group activity. Then we all sort of fell off playing. I came back in Legion for the conclusion to a lot of plot threads because it felt nice to wrap those up. Forever is depressing to me. I have no interest in starting over from nothing and abandoning the character I like for some game mode that means nothing to me. Dwarf is the only cool race in forever, but it won't be my dwarf. It will be some nobody with no history to me. Completely soulless.I know everyone is going to abandon ship for classic+. Even if it sucks they will feel inclined to try to do endgame which will take months no doubt.
