I resubbed for the first time since 2018.Everything has been feeling hard going. First on an arms warrior that I never leveled up before. Got him to about lvl 60 and jumped on my mistweaver. Since I've been gone apparently the meta has completely abandoned the way I use to play it. No more comfy soothing mist range build. Its all "fistweaver" now. Kinda killed it for me. Hopped on my frost mage i haven't touched since TBC. Dicked around on him for all of 20 mins. Then I jumped on my affliction lock who I last played in cata. When I last try to play him in mop and bfa it just felt like ass. However this time around the class feels like its back to form. The keybindings feel right and flow and it was the only talent tree I read out of the four that got me excited.I'm still very much slogging through my keybindings as I've completely lost the muscle memory, but this one is actually still fun.

You know, trying to keep every profession handy and leveled, I'm really starting to think after the last couple of expansions especially that Blizz just really fucking hate Jewelcrafters in particular.Like Enchanting certainly has its fair share of shit in how much you can disenchant for the materials vs how much is needed for the enchants, or Inscription for similar reasons because specific herbs and specific inks mixed with other shit for the other materials that all needs ink and blah blah blah.But god damn, Jewelcrafting just so unnecessarily lately takes so much more resources than Blacksmithing and Engineering when it comes to minerals.You fuckin' RNG chance to drop whichever gems you need, but then you need to get gem dust, so you need to crush at least three of that same RNG generated gem for an amount of dust that doesn't even equate to the number of gems crushed, not to mention needing an extra material to crush WITH the gems for some reason which last expansion was just 10 more ore which made it even more costly.But then you gotta do that several more times for a stupid amount of gem dust and other materials to just glue to the base of a regular gem apparently because its just gotta have this extra shit to make it the socketable stat booster you need.You can realistically chew through an hour of your farmed stock and MAYBE be able to make one of that thing you needed.
