They wouldn't want to make the increased rate of natural 1s too noticeable, especially for the savvy Honor mode player who would almost always roll with Advantage and thus logically expect a 0.25% occurrence rate of natural 1s. But that's not good enough for you, is it? Of course not. You deserve the best, and you remember all these pesky natural 1 streaks that are too blatant to be within expected statistical variation. Everything in it is sourced from someone actually living in the world of the game. A diary entry, a note, an excerpt from a text, etc. It's never just a fucking wiki entry on whatever the thing is. That does so much heavy lifting in immersing you if you actually bother to read it. It's so fucking genius and I can't even think of another game that does it. It's like a cheat code for making the lore seem really expansive without even having to really do anything. If there's anything to copy from Dragon Age to give your game a massive boost in production value it's that imo (assuming it has something like a codex in it)
