That concludes my VFR trip around Poland with the Comanche 250 from A2A. I've tried using mostly grass airstrips or somge god forsaken runways. Crusing between 7000 and 10000 feet. It was a pleasant experience with some minor hiccups here and theree. Flying in all kinds of weather, actively avoiding storms, heavy precipitation. All planned with littlenavmap with custom waypoints. At the last leg I've learned that there will be world update to Poland and Baltics hehe.

I've been lucky to see it do two displays plus a full start (with weird shit such as the optronics in front of cockpits turning around) and then a vertical takeoff with a complete disregard for gravity and common sense. Beautiful airplane made somewhat sinister by its weird geometry that makes it difficult to figure its whole shape, and its two pointy SPECTRA housings on the intakes. Almost looks alien. Wins with flying colours the "Ear-splitting fucking loud noise hearing rape fucker fuck" medal, even with earplugs the reheat was body-shaking. We've learned they train to do low-passes at full speed to stun enemy forces and make a point if needed before resorting to weaponry.It is very nimble and turns tighter than it should and all in all it is amazing to see such a beast. Honestly I pooh-pooh people who fly nothing but tubeliners, but this is fun in a different way, and the C-17 is a lot more interesting than a boring A320. Each flight is a learning experience, I've yet to have one go completely smoothly. I cocked up the ILS for this one so came out of the clouds pointing in the wrong direction, I think I was just a retard and didn't switch from MSN to ILS.

Where would I place a cheap/budget handbrake (and -MAYBE- a possible shifter in the future) in this setup while spending as little money as possible. I have my wheel clamped to an extra sawhorse that I had because I didn't want the motor and wheel wobbling my desk/monitors? Do handbrakes come with any desk clamps like that? I thought I might just be able to clamp it to the desk or the sawhorse itself and then just reach forward and pull it down for handbrake, but I don't know how suitable that is. Ok so apparently I'm really fucking retarded, but I couldn't find anything in the forums or on youtube (e.g. Air Combat Tutorial Library) anywhere else.I am on IL-2 Stalingrad and trying to get by with the Ju-87 D-3.My problem is that I can't seem to get my aim straight.Something I noticed is that the rudder is tilted in neutral.I don't know if it's a simple graphics thing (certainly not a glitch; I validated files a few times already and my stick is also fine) or if it has an actual functional effect. I think it does.In the picture there are two shots from dives I did - nevermind the bit shallow one on the bottom.Important is the trim settings: Top is no trim (as specified in the actual Ju-87 manual), and you can clearly see the rudder being tilted with no input at all here.Bottom is then trimmed to something like -30%, and it seems like the plane is actually straighter.What I don't understand here are two things: 1. Is that rudder issue intended (LukeFF reply was "use trim lol" and then nothing anymore) or not?2. So far I haven't been able to find actual sources on how the dive itself is conducted. I know about the basic principle inverted/nose down yadda yadda, but apart from there being the 5° max control column movement being implemented, I also couldn't find anything on whether rudder should be used in the dive or not. JUST KEEP YOUR AIM ON THE TARGET HURR DURR. I mean, I completely cut gas here, so the plane is basically just gliding. Is there just some basic bitch pilot knowledge that is so obvious to anyone with actual flight experience that it doesn't need to be explained or is there some actual trick to it?
