After it has spirit and +3, desecrate a prefix, and then use the quality essence (use prefix omen for both). After you have the quality, desecrate a suffix that's ilvl >75. You can then whittle without other omens. If you get an unwanted prefix that's 75+, remove it with prefix omen annul. Finally, remove the desecration and redesecrate +5 quality

I really love the game, but one thing I just can't wrap my head around is the decision to make all the effects so over the top. It causes so many issues.Performance can get bad even on a good PC, you often can't tell what is damaging you without checking the debuff icon, and you often can't even spot Rogue Exiles, so you basically end up playing off the overlay map instead (which just adds even more noise on top).It's such a shame, because the game has so much beautiful designs, but it all gets overshadowed and turns into a visual blob. I get that all the MTX being sold are already out there and changing them isn't really an option, but at least give us a way to tone the effects down a notch. It would make such a huge difference.

Crafting puts me in a foul mood that permeates to every other aspect of the game. Pulling 10 divs out of a juiced map doesn't even feel good because I know I'm going to use it on an omen of light or whittling that fails and just waste my time. >>581692034It's obviously not super mechanically strong like Twisters or Arc, but it does surprisingly good damage if you build it properly and it's just fun to play. You have so many skill points available that you can dump them into exposure effect and get a frost bomb that gives -100 res on bosses. Since you're also scaling aura magnitude for ele weakness blasphemy, you get a temp chains that trivializes the entire game. Most mobs can't even fight back and just get sucked into the tornado. I would say the biggest issue with the build is that AoE is very finnicky and leaves mobs behind sometimes. It'd be cool if it had little twisters that came out to help with this. You actually do need some cast speed with it to make it feel smooth/instant and then you can go around just casting tornados from pack-to-pack. It's actually one of the most chill builds in the entire game and is anti-combo, tub gameplay. Mathil called it the RF of PoE 2 and it's about as close as you can get to that in this game.
