Seems like some of the weapons have offset specifically on the Boost Driver, which is the boost mode activation attack. This means they can only do offsets once per Boost mode and only at the very beginning. Unless I'm assuming incorrectly, and you can do the Boost Driver attack again any time during Boost mode.
