Someone mentioned dungeon meshi before and it got me thinking they should do something with food, in the tavern or at camps. Food providing small bonuses for a single outing, like relicbrews but temporary and only positive. We have fishing now and there's potential for a system where you bring ingredients with you to use at a campfire within a dungeon. Ideally, they'd also have some cool artwork like pic related or the super hi-res videos of meat frying in dragon's dogma.How would you implement cooking?

Fighter is a pretty respectable, not that distant 2nd place, but also much less of a pain in the ass to gear and level so if you're only putting in a couple hours here and there and the theoretical limits don't matter your fighter will do better.

>>582008537The main issue is the way the game handles soft caps for damage scaling. Early on, when we only had two abyss mages were absolute forces(especially because they were our only source of AOE). But the soft cap of launch spells is just too damn low and we haven't gotten anything that really scales past it.

Dark characters do more damage with all attacks to light characters. That's how it should be. Now it's just about defenses, and attacking is based on gear. Gear is that impossible to farm, and always the second best choice, soon to be outclassed anyways. It's mind boggling. I swear Claude must have come up with half the fuck game mechanics while it was making the code.
