It’s a good game but yeah, there’s nothing to discuss. Most of the designs are pretty forgettable so I don’t see anyone who will be remembered. Olympia is beautiful but we’ve seen similar characters like her before, usually the rich girl archetype in Japanese games. None of the characters have a super deep backstory, and the plot is just meh. I see fan art drying up pretty quickly. I was excited for Leda and her route was so flat story and character-wise. She really is "muh revenge" and has similarities with Dimitri but also has the irrelevance of Claude and bows as her prf weapon. The story had so much potential yet was poorly executed. The overarching story is that Leda's life is ruined because of political conspiracies and plots, with Bertrand and Maria/Arago being the centre of it all. People are mad Leda drops the Bertrand revenge plot, and I don't even care that she forgives Bertrand if that was the end goal all along. My issue was with the way they handled it, which was abrupt and not believable or satisfying in the storyline. Forgiving Bertrand was likely the thing that could showcase Leda's character development, but there was no tension or conflict that would make it believable. She goes from wanting to kill him to wanting to kill him later to satisfy her revenge, to the plot just being dropped in her ending. We didn't see much interaction with her and Bertrand either. It was trying to be edgy and deep but failed at that. The story was trying to convey how revenge is bad and will eat you alive, her whole purpose and identity was around revenge, and they should have explored how Leda deals with the emptiness from having no purpose and later finding one since that was the only thing she lived for, and she was obsessed with him to the point that the game dangles how Leda's hatred of him feels like being in love because of her obsession with killing him. Besides Buccar, I didn't really get a sense of connection among Leda and her team the way the other lords have with their team. Leda is fun to play as, she is unique from other lords in the series. I liked playing as support and archer/dancer. My complaint is that classing her as a dancer specialization made her being a dancer useless because the game wants you to use her blaze arts, but you have to choose one or the other in some cases.

I am playing Dietrich's route and battles aren't that satisfying so far, and I am halfway through his part 1. It is far easier to make money and become overleveled in his route than Leda's, though renowned is slower in comparison. Leda's route was less easy to earn money but because her performance quests give her so much renown I was able to max to 12 at 75% of her part 1. Love the characters in Dietrich route especially Fabio who feels he should be the main character. I don't think you are meant to take this route seriously as it goes full comedy, even the game tries to tell you how ridiculous Dietrich's autism
