It isn't that much popular sadly, usually when I play, there are 10-20 online. We are doing Onyxia soon and last time I looked we only had 20 people signed up. The day after is big stress test, but doubt we will get more than 100+ players.
It's grim, but nowadays if your server isn't advertised on youtube or reddit, you don't get many players. That's why Ravencraft is also not getting a huge population.

I think it's weird that people who have played wow to hell and back want to play vanilla. I was there during closed beta and early retail until naxx. that shit is unironic ass. 90% of the game is walking somewhere. it's almost a relief when you finally arrive at a place where you can actually use your skills and play the fucking game. and then, when you hit 60, you realize that there is no open world. every single endgame activity is about ignoring the open world as much as possible. it becomes a glorified instance traversal zone and waiting hub for more instances.
