You should probably play someone vanilla but strong like Tretch or Queek to get a better grasp of their army and actually improve without getting cheats like Ikit's nuke or Throt's super-units. Queek also has a pretty hard campaign, so you have to actually learn to use his army well by flanking or using your artillery and setting up good chokes for your shitty ranged units before you get ratlings. Ratling spammability kind of ruined the fun behind playing Skaven armies
Neferata has great starting stats. This is in addition to 20% physical resistance and being a spellcaster.

>>582152054I have played WoC khorne twice, it's mostly the same. You get 18 bloodletter, the hero on his motorcycle and then go pile of violence with 120MA. It's just way slower because no bloodhosts and it takes ages for the bloodletter to spawn in the pool.
