You know, I understand that different worlds have their own time axis, and I understand that worlds were still recovering from the keyblade war way back in DR, but I don't understand how the worlds could be moving so slowly back in DR but by the time of BBS they seemingly were moving in sync with each other.
This is my most ridiculous theory, but I think these keyblades not being in>BBS>DDD>0.2>Uxmay have caused Nomura to forget that these were a staple for Sora to obtain, and thus missed out on base KH3. Roxas dual wielding them didn't stop Sora from getting them in KH2, and imagine the idea of Sora losing Kingdom Key because of Xion.Which leads into my next theory of KH4 Sora getting Oblivion when Riku shows up in Quadratum, and Oathkeeper when reuniting with Kairi late in the game.

Secondly; KH2FM is not as good as I remembered it. Ignoring the obvious like how everything is a corridor, Pete's fight in timeless river was aids and I hated every second. Most early fights themselves are aids because Sora is made of paper and everything is a giant rapist attracted to paper. Atlantica is still as dogshit as I remember and it fills me with terrible rage every minute I'm forced to acknowledge I need to finish it for the magic upgrades. What else.. Oh yeah. I feel like I've gimped myself picking a magic build but that's because every time I've played 2 in the past I unga maxed for pure power. Oh yeah and finally all the keyblades in 2 fucking suck until you reach the end. Their stats make me wish we had the BBS keyblades because at least those were a little more interesting.
