The previous patch was pretty half assed and only translated card effects, but this one translates tutorial dialogue and pretty much everything else. I tested it out and ran into zero issues so it's very playable. I don't think I'm a fan of Time Stranger, it's like all the things that I would like about it specifically have something that damper those aspects to make them less enjoyable. There's so much stuff getting in my way or artificially preventing me from progressing or doing certain things too. Lately I've just been blasting through the main story because I can't really do much else and there's not much point in me exploring, fighting, or evolving. I'm not hooked into the story either because it's a bit shit and the two lead characters aren't very likeable, while the side characters aren't very well developed. I didn't like Next Order very much but I'm starting to appreciate how you could fuck around and be left to your own devices while having a good reason to work on your monsters constantly, and I didn't enjoy the gameplay in Survive but I liked how the characters felt like they were their own people who played their part in the story. Kind of feels like Time Stranger is the worst of both worlds here, and even the predecessor (CS) had a better farm system and slightly better paced access to side content (still not great though). I'm really hoping that the expansion is more well thought out regarding side quests, pacing, and difficulty because I'm already expecting that the little faggot shota isn't going to be someone that I'll like any more than Aeigomon or Inori.
