I think I'm close to beating the Ilias route, about to attack The Dark Goddess' castle in Hellgondo. Got the prisoners freed and the sealed weapons. Very strong start to Part 3 so far. I wasn't expecting for there to be as much content in just one of the worlds so far. I think I would have liked even more towns, flavor text, and side quests, and perhaps some more what daily life is like under the Ancestors, but the main story beats were all great. Emtional moments hit as they were intended to, and reveals were done nicely. I like wrapping up the stories of the lilith sisters and Alma Elma. I wish I had more time with the archangels, but it is what it is for now. Also, the strength progression was done extremely well! I actually felt like I was outmatched for much of the route, but now after the Demiurge portion, I have Luka's attack stat up to 150k, and with stigmata and conditional damage boosters I'm doing damage that feels like it could make one of the Ancestors sweat. It made the fight against Berserk Lilith feel earned and the conclusion appropriate. It has been a while since I felt like the gameplay matched the story. That was very satisfying.Alice the 9th and Himiko have become stand out companions for me. Alice 9th's spear abilities are so good in combination with applying stigmata and corruption, and I have Himiko making Katanas viable, following up with dire curse dance or a Taoism ability. Im very pleased, and I'm hoping the Alice route and the Angelic Dominion will be up to the same standard. It's going to be challenging emotionally to go against the Angels now, but I think the game's writing will get me there in an organic way.
