It's an RPG that lets you build a team but for most of the game you don't have options. For the last third of the game you basically cannot remove Amy from your party due to her Smash3 ability. Sonic is stapled to your main party meaning you only get to choose two of the characters and for most people that's going to be Tails or Rouge since they can fly. I like the story, but I could probably write essays on things I find off about it. Especially the direction it apparently intended for Knuckles.
