Voice direction is just shit for some of the characters.
For example david hater sounded like shit in MGS Peace Walker, but many ears later he did voiced some capeshit character and he sounded just like he did in MGS1. MGS PW VA Director is a retard, he told david to sound like he has throat cancer.

Same could be said about both Old Norts VA, they were really bad too. Yeah I know you can never replace Nimoy but at least director could told them to put in some effort to sound cartoonishly evil like Nimoy did. Both of them sounded just like a plain old dude.

I'm replaying KH3 and I'm confused.
Why everyone treats Xion like it's a real Xion from Days.
Judging by Saix's words in Remind dlc Org13 reconstructed her from records. So it's a copy without her own heart, like a Riku Replica when he was just created.
Yeah her memories are returned but she's still a copy with someone else's memories.
Not a real original Xion. Right? Or am I missing something?

She is the memories essentially. When she has her hood up she basically has no identity and appears differently for different people based on their relation to sora then when she gets the memories her own identity solidifies and she no longer has the hood up look. Her whole function was to absorb Sora's power but when she became friends with Roxas and Axel she sidestepped it in a way and became her own thing through her own connections instead of being a proxy for everyone else's.
The remind one is some kind of backup with the data they got through her original function without what made her a unique person.
Last thread got nuked by slopspammer and lorelet, curious they're around at the same time everytime.

Where are you getting this from.
Xion's return directly follows the memories returning. She's hood up, as soon as the memories return and people remember her name, she's Xion.
Roxas needs Sora's help because he's literally going from heart to heart with the power of waking, waking roxas's heart, and Roxas needs the connection he has with his friends to return, the sigil is part of that I guess.

I wonder how Ursula even returned in KH2. I'm given to the idea that her heart got plucked at the moment of her defeat in KH1 and that's the "phantom" you fight in DDD, and her defeat there is how she was able to return in 2.

I really want to plat KH3, but I'm very slow and old.
While I can still do Crit story mode, but the data fights are very hard.
I know I can do it on Beginner but it feels like cheating.
I've never defeated Data fights before in 2 or 3.

So I decided to brute-force it. I guess it's also sort of a cheating but I wouldn't feel as bad this way.
I wanted to have the strongest but also tankiest build (that can be achieved on Crit).
I've done the following:
1. Got Ultima weapon.
2. Spent over 15 hours farming synthesis mats and munny so I could reach hard cap in every stat boost: +100 STR, +100 MAG, +100 DEF.
3. Got 2 hidden HP boosts for gathering 333 Soras in The Final World.
4. Crafted 3 copies of every 50% resist gear so I can get max resist for Data fights that use a lot of elemental attacks.

So the result is surprisingly good:
1. Wiped floor with YX, Repliku, Ansem.
2. Larxene, Marluxia and Vanitas were somewhat challenging at the start but I actually managed to breeze through them once I equipped max elemental resistance (80%+).
With all those boosts and resists I casually tanked Larxene's DM.
And I even managed to skip Vanitas's DM thanks to Ultima. It's formchange is OP.
3. Terranort was meh, only difficult part is unblockable red combo.
4. Xigbar was tricky, but as soon as I learned to block his shit I killed him.
5. Saix was... wow, I've wasted over an hour on him. Previous fights took me 5-10 minutes at worst. He's tanky, spams a lot of AOE and even has stun. I actually had to learn his patterns instead of blindly mashing attack with Ultima formchange.
6. Oh, and Luxord. FUCK THIS STUPID GIMMICKY SHIT. I HATE HIM. I also wasted a lot of time on his fight even tho people online consider him the easiest. But I did kill him.

There is only Xemnas and two locked fights (MX and Xion) left for me to clear. Gonna continue tomorrow.
Xemnas is too much for me for now.
Also please tell me MX and Xion easier than Xemnas and Saix

Don't how "bad" their reaction will be, but the reveal is going to be like Toy Story getting into KH3: floodgates opening for Indiana Jones (Lucasfilm) and Marvel (since nothing is truly off the table) in the future. It'll be a momentous day for sure.

I just started KH3 for the first time (on critical) and these enemy swarms are brutal. In the older games you could focus on the ones flanking you but here I get sniped from a screen away. At least I just picked up cure spell and once I get second chance things should be manageable. What I really want is to fight the data battles at the end but I guess it's nostalgic to see the old characters again, even if the story was over at 2 for me.

I'm actually really excited about the switch 2 ports, I never got to play the final mix versions of 1 and 2 and now I finally do and I never got to play 3 at all because I didn't have the money for a playstation system since the 2 and now all three will be in my hands, I know 3 will play and look like shit from what people say but if I cared about that I wouldn't be a nintendo user.

I just realized now I'll actually be fighting Roxas instead of just watching a cutscene of him and Sora fighting I'm definitely doing that fight with the Kingdom Key, it's only fair.

Finally, I always wondered these two things, why did Riku have Kairi's keyblade and just gives it to her, did Noruma ever explain himself on that? And why can Sora still dual wield in 3 with double for when the explaination for the second keyblade was that he was using Ventus's keyblade from within his heart and the reason Roxas was double bladed was also because he was using Ventus's keyblade with Sora's and that's why he had two by the time of the deep dive? In fact, I think he only pulled the second blade during that entire sequence where he was just a bundle of anger, confusion and resentment before Riku finally bested him, which then brings the question, why did he pull two blades out on Axel, was it because it was the only way he could win or was it because he wanted to show that he's got his memories back?

I do agree with your general point, I don't think BBS needs to be changed into an entirely new game. The stagger and revenge mechanics though are good things, and I think the addition of being able to opt into a finisher or command style is a positive as well although it's more heavily optional. I'm going to rip those directly and use them in a personal mod if nothing else. I don't think BBS needed any major overhauls to its combat, just some of its bosses.

Yeah I took a look at that mod and while it looks interesting I would not recommend anyone to try this if it's their first time experiencing BBS
This mod is only for people that already played BBS a dozen times and want a different experience

I won't download any mods to radically change any combat system since I generally enjoy each KH games take on gameplay, but I do think small refinements we didn't get are nice and it's a good thing when we get them.

The only mod I could possibly see myself downloading is one that removes the one door opening cutscene from playing after the first time in hollow bastion before you fight Possessed Riku. And one that changes his retaliation speeds so the fucking slash dash is not an instantaneous action.

Could go either way. On one hand, lot of the worlds already seem like form changing ones, so both SW and Haunted Mansion are probably the only Disney chances to see normal SDG together. On the other hand, SDG didn't need to change their designs for Pirates, but did anyway because it looked cool and probably for merchandise.
