If you pick up an autcannon along with a full backpack you don't slow down one bit, so you can say that the weight of the AC is already factored in to the running speed. If you were to decouple this and make it variable, you could increase the base movement speed of the helldiver in general (or have light armor speed as the base), and then your final speed is determined by how much stuff you carry at any given moment.

I can load up the tutorial mission complex and bug (or any enemy, presumably) patrols will spawn but unfortunately the main gate won't open for fights to happen inside (chargers can phase through the front gate while charging just fine).
