Opera GX should be legally banned from calling themselves a gaming browser until they release their own fork of webGPU that outperforms wGPU and Dawn, and has more features the others don't such as raytracing. You can't call yourself "gaming" anything if your browser doesn't do the one thing in it's name that sticks out, play games better. Being able to change browser feature's colors and have a discord sidebar and shitposting on X all day doesn't make you gaming anything.

Change my mind.

If Opera REALLY wanted to be a gaming browser they'd

>Ditch Chrome and any unnecessary overhead
>Make their browser from Deno (yes, really)
>Lean into Deno using V8 + Rust wGPU; Firefox uses rust wGPU but their Javascript engine is dogshit compared to v8
>Use Deno's WebUI and HTML rendering
>Use the new experimental version with things like Ray Querying; which is Vulkan enabled only
https://zenn.dev/kokutoupan/articles/eefc517ac4210d?locale=en
>Enforce Vulkan like article above suggests, fuck DirectX
>This also helps because Khronos group which made Vulkan, made KTX2 and a three.js dev used it's insane optimization abilities to make a compressor for Ram and filesize both
https://x.com/iced_coffee_dev/status/2098444575723389215
>implement an OPFS file system; but take a page out of link related to add versioning so user's can have a "download game" button to download it locally and devs can do git diff type versioning to update user's files. This would single handedly kill the biggest issue with brower gaming, no one wanting to download a game every single time so assets being low poly.
https://kaset.dev/concepts/versioning.html
>obviously make sure it supports Wasm64 and web workers for multi-threading
>hard encourage all devs to use the KTX2 standard
>hard encourage the Nanite system for meshing
https://x.com/hybridherbst/status/2057976264363843603
>Sell itself on being an ACTUAL gaming browser and not made from Chromium like all the others while still using the superior v8, but with the faster rust wGPU variant

If someone actually build that stuff into a browser the three.js would cater to it and people would unironically flock to it. Deno and open libraries already have everything someone would need to make it.

>>
>>583647574
I just don't have that dog in me to bring in a crowd through jestering online.

It used to be that all you had to do was make a decent game, and it would spread organically without having to shill it yourself. Not even "top 10 good", but "decent" and you'd get a decent amount of money in return. That's no longer the case nowadays because of lower barrier of entry and huge amount of selection for the customers. (This already happened with mobile store long ago and now it's been slowly happening to Steam for some years now.)
The old environment, with higher barrier of entry, favored nerds who were passionate about games and nerd stuff like LOTR or Conan the Barbarian and weren't that good socially but had the patience to grind the necessary skills for years. The current environment favors more socially inclined people who don't mind coming up with skits and spamming them on tiktok/youtube shorts, putting on some wacky identity online, managing discord server, etc. (At least in the indie context where you don't have AAA marketing budgets.)
The industry isn't worse per say, but it's different, it's only subjectively worse for the nerds I mentioned, and subjectively better for people who didn't have the patience for repetitive work but don't mind putting themselves in front of people.

(I do think exceptional games will still float to the top, but it's the kind of game that's a "top 10 best seller" level. I'm thinking the gap between the "rich" and the "poor" among game devs is also getting wider, but maybe this will change in the future when things stabilize a bit.)

I kept on running on billions of performance issues with godot, basically anything I was doing at any point let to worse performances, UI, targeting, animation systems, trying to give infantry better more fluid animations and AI also proved to be a huge pain point on godot.
Probably the best course would've been to go Unity rather than UE, but it seems that nobody gives a shit about unity anymore so I might as well go for UE, I also have a bunch of packs on fab from various bundles so I was like, you know what fuck it

Here are my thoughts after not watching it_)_*(
The Power of Iterative Refinement: Blow emphasizes that true quality comes from a willingness to delete even "good" content
His team spent two years sifting through levels to ensure every puzzle was focused, purposeful, and free of unnecessary clutter.

Non-Intrusive Storytelling: When integrating narrative into gameplay, avoid drowning out the mechanics. Blow suggests using optional audio logs or background dialogue that players can engage with at their own pace

Designing for Accessibility: Aim for depth without making the game unfair. The goal is to teach concepts naturally. When players hit a wall, they should feel like they are missing a concept they need to learn, rather than feeling like the game is broken or cheating.

Managing Crunch and Launch Realities: Both developers discuss the intense pressure of the final months. McMillen notes the importance of being prepared to support the game post-launch with quick, responsive updates for bugs and polish

Finding Your Niche: They share a common philosophy: it is more rewarding to create a game that is a few people's "all-time favorite" than to create a product that is merely "pretty okay" to a mass audience.

Yeah that makes sense I thought you were going from UE4 to 5. I feel like 4 is like godot but better in terms of performance, the engine overhead in UE5 makes it unappealing to me since I'm using the lowest render settings anyways. Optimizing on 5 seems way harder, professional dev teams using it don't bother targeting steam deck or older hardware even if they use le psx art

>>
>>583675598
Yeah I thought about this as well, but I guess I trust 'potential' more than what the modern dev team is capable of, there's a few UE5 projects out there that run extremely well and so I'm assuming it's really a matter of not having a filthy publisher breathing down my neck telling me we need to rush it and release it next week, and any hardship I'm met with will be sent away to astra or claude or whatever will be hype in six months time.
I'd love to aim for steamdeck at 60 but seeing as it's a wannabe RTS, it might just be way too much for the CPU to handle (but that's also why I'm moving away from godot, I already pushed as many systems as I could on other threads but the main thread kept getting clogged by everything else). We'll just have to find out.

I think I just scopecrept myself into wanting too much all at once, rather than keep the game small and simple, idk.
I'll figure it out.

Like, do I need sound echoing for explosions far away? Most triple A games don't even do that shit.
What about realistic turret clearance and weapons, are people going to be autistic enough about this sort of things to care? If they're an actual mechwarrior enjoyer probably, but most people..?
What about ballistics even for long range weapons? Isn't the average gaymer happy enough with just a lobbed grenade and everything else should just be 'aim in general direct and press R2 xd'
Do I need realistic momentum based crashes for vehicles and aircrafts? Why did I even add this? shouldn't it just be enough to have a random death animation playing, no matter how they die or how fast they were going when they did?

Then I got fire spreading in liquid fashion from different weapons/equipment, I got smoke propagation and the AI can't see through it and keep shooting at last known position, I got cover systems for infantry and small vehicles that allow them to fuck with your targeting, added drones as well with EMP effects that cancel an enemy weapon's reload (resets it) on top of mini stunning, yadda yadda yadda
It's probably too much? I don't know, I like depth, but is there a point at which it's just too much information and most people just want... something easy and simple?
If they see a mech game and it's a strategy game, are they going to go in and expect autistic levels of details, or will they just want to shoot things and make them explode?

It'll take a while but learning is a process after all.

You're right, but the drive is kinda different because these are explicitly multiplayer games, so you want to improve because that russian bitch that told you to get fucked did play better than you and so you need to learn how to fuck him up next time.

I'm most likely going to add a multiplayer mode to the game, eventually, but it's not comparable, especially considering it'll mostly be 1v1, I don't even want to deal with servers, I'll just allow people to host their games and invite their friends and that'll be about it, I don't know, I wasn't thinking multiplayer should be the focus, I just started working on making sure the external part of the mechs 'make sense' as well 'just in case I turn it multiplayer' but this was probably another mistake, I should just make it full cockpit, full single player, and then potentially expand later if there's any demand for that.

So, since theatre of steel is being ported to UE (it'll probably take a few days of work at least), it means I get to focus on something else.

I have three projects dear to my heart that I've been designing for a while:

- Tower of the gods: Azure dreams. Literally azure dreams. Of course there's going to be additions, I'm going to take dark cloud's town creation system (tell people where they should live to make them happy, one doesn't like being close to the river, one hates the hospital, one hates this particular guy, yadda yadda), better MP system, a breeding system as well on top of fusions (for different types of trait inheritance), still roguelite turn based 2.5DHD adventure (I'll have to get an artist for the sprites, I'll handle the 3D low poly modeling)

- Scav: What if GTFO, Tarkov and that VR walking dead game had a baby. You're on a prison ship, didn't do too much of the lore yet but you're potentially the last human alive in the universe, you find a clanker that helps you get out of the prison, you escape with it, now you gotta salvage your way... somewhere (didn't decide yet, probably 'home'). You get a breacher/shuttle, you breach random derelict ship (all humans are dead), you get in there to salvage what you can (mostly for ship and resource management purpose: crafting materials, fuel, this sort of thing), get data cores to improve the clanker (which serves as meta upgrades), but of course there's a threat: creep. Alien creep, unknown origin, probably what caused human extinction: it sucks the electricity out of everything to grow, grows enough and it creates nests that spawn creatures: you gotta survive. This is the gist of it, so FPS, dark, randomly generated levels, survival and resource management.

this happens to artist too

- Isekai: stupid story, disgaea level of 'what if they made an isekai story', you're summoned as an evil pawn for an """"""evil""""" witch, but she's a retard. Akko level of retard.
You die and resurrect as different breeds of monsters (that you unlock through the game), she meant to summon the most evil and powerful monster of all (a behemoth or something, idk) and she summons you as a stupid goblin or an imp or something.
Physics based 3rd person combat, I'd call it SOULS like but let's be honest here, that might be pushing it.
I have a billion ideas for other characters that allow you to grow more and more powerful, there's going to be romance and a bunch of shit, I really want to do a disgaea-like story, the gameplay is not even relevant here and this is mostly me wanting to write a story.
>>
>>583681020

it's over when people catch on that claude can make pixel art. maybe that default claude style(basic color ramps, smooth motion, black 1px outlines, lots of dithering, dithered particle effects) will become associated with slop games by gamers in short time though.
>>
>>583682939
The same way each of the big boys have their own 'style', you can tell it's slop just by looking at it, but you can also tell which one is GPT, which one is grok, and which one is claude just by looking at it; this means it can easily be changed.

But at the end of the day it doesn't matter that much to most people, if it did then cartoons wouldn't have been infested by the calarts style for so many years.

Didn't try elevenlabs yet, is it for voice or for music?
>>
>>583683686
Sometimes you need a change of pace
My first project where I learned everything along the way is such a goddamn mess that it really fucking sucks to work with. Inefficient, hacky, huge full retard code chunks with endlessly deep nested if statements copied pasted on multiple parts, so if I want to change something I have to change 20 individual things instead of 1 thing shared via script.
I love that game, I really do, but it is hell.
Then I started a new game with what I learned and it was more refined.
Then I started a newer game and it became beautifully efficient and clean.
Let it go anon, try something new. You can always come back to it later.
>>
>>583685148
Use Fish Audio Pro S2 for speech. It's on the same level as elevenlabs but way cheaper.

For music you're better off finetuning a local music model on the genre you want. minimax music 3 is pretty good. That or you give claude control of music making software.

Calm down dude it's just text on a screen. I thought we were having a civil argument?
I was explaining how what you consider to be an "optional tool" stops being optional when everyone else starts doing it.
Like I would have liked to keep living on the countryside and grow my own farm, but when every other young person in my village moved to the city and we stopped having local farmer markets from lack of people, I was pretty much forced to move out as well, leaving behind only a bunch of stubborn elderly and empty houses. Now I live like a sardine in the big city.
It's not about hurting other people, it's about these being races to the bottom that will end up worsening the life experiences for everyone involved long term, including your descendants. There's a reason European cities are appreciated for being walkable and not having to use a car everywhere.

Sorry nonny, I was on my man period and lashed out at you.

But I completely disagree with your overall assessment, because it's a lot more of a subjective matter than you might think.
Advancing technology is cool.
I don't care that there's less farmers needed, I don't care that it's a machine that's digging up my potatoes rather than some cheap mexican being paid a slave wage. Through all the suffering that we create through simply surviving, as first worlders, you get to enjoy life.
If not for all the suffering, our lives would probably be nearly as shit as theirs. If not even shittier because they could've just invaded us and took over anyways, but that's another long subject.

My point is that: the world isn't a simple scale of 0 to 10. You can't just associate something that you arbitrarily decided 'is bad' because you believe it is. It's obviously not, do you know why? Because I enjoy it.
That's it, your argument is done, it's my feelings against yours, you call it a race to the bottom, I'm saying this is literally what video games needed to survive. You can keep your sloppa and your managed decline, I'll enjoy watching all the big companies burn to the ground, and I'll be making my games on the side and enjoying myself more than I've ever did in my life.

That's all there is to it.

My friend group is entirely made of CS2 players who compete at a high level and weve just been slamming out features and changes to make it fun. if you dont like it, feel free to give me some ideas of what sucks about it

just saw the nortubel dude on newgrounds and it reminded me of my time here, its nice to see everyone is dooming as per usual. I don't mind trying my hand at game dev again but the gulf between my 2d art skillz and 3d stuff is a little too large so i wanna grind out on blender a bit first. The alternative would be using some free assets for 3d stuff but eventually I WOULD want to make my own stuff and I’m sure having to port over the animations to a new model will be a nightmare

Megabonk was absolute trash, bub, literally the kitchen sink of a million ideas that have nothing to do with one another, he added things and then never thought about integrating them better, wasted potential: the game.
Whoever makes an actual 3D vampire survivor with smarter movement mechanics and characters that ACTUALLY play differently will win big money.

>>583696028
I don't know, it's getting there but I'm still not happy with any of the designs yet, it's missing something still, but maybe some better textures, some animations and some smoke and dirt and whatever will help, I'll figure it out.

I feel exactly the same way, word for word. You can't just associate any technological progress and its consequences as being "good". Why? Because I don't enjoy it. Much like how gasoline used to have lead, we need to approach new technologies with tempered reason and integrate them in a way that doesn't diminish the human experience, hence my European cities analogy where they still have cars, electricity, and 1st world living standards, without sacrificing trees and walkability.

might have found a potentially interesting style, inspired by Die Hard Trilogy and I guess pre-rendered sprites in general. final version would be billboarded and have multiple sprites for different angles
could look weird if I add a neck since it might clip into it and fight it or look weird if you can see the polygonal neck cutting the head sprite off from the back, not sure. either way at low res it shouldn't be too much of an issue, and if anything it could add to any existing horror atmosphere, it creates a kind of Mona Lisa affect

>Damn. How? Also do you have skeleton animation data made beforehand on which you apply the animation with?

No, there's no pre-made animation data. It's actually really similar to how Dead Cells draws its characters, except they do it beforehand while i'm rendering it live. Behind the scenes everything is 3D, but its 2D in scene.

For drawing the body I used a combination of distance functions, smooth minimum, and the 3d to 2d pipeline I mentioned earlier. For animation it's a bit more complicated, but the tldr is an IK solver. I started with Daniel Holden's Simple Two Joint IK (https://theorangeduck.com/page/simple-two-joint) and now I'm working on turning it into a full body IK.

modern games can have retro throwback visuals, whether that's low poly or pixel art. should people not even try if they can't make 'modern' visuals on par with GTA 6 or better? were stylized games like Okami or Wind Waker not modern for their time because they weren't chasing the highest graphical fidelity?

>>
>>583712924
You have a weak mindset and are coping. You believe you can't make something of high quality so you don't even try. Retro throwback is entirely cope, many retro games had games that are of high artistic quality but people here do not try to recreate any of the good looking retro games. They think that making something low poly and with poorly made textures is oldschool and means their laziness will be excused rather than making an ambitious attempt at art and failing. You mention okami and wind waker but does your game aspire to that artistic quality? No it doesn't, because you're afraid of trying to even attempt that style because you don't think you can do it.
And then you resort to insults because you're the type of person who is set in their ways and refuse to ever listen to anyone else or take advice or change even when I'm telling you to rise out of mediocrity.
Stupid nigger trash, I fucking hate lazy worthless dogs like you. You're never going to make it.

you arrogantly and mistakenly believe you know more about my art and artistic journey than I do
>many retro games had games that are of high artistic quality but people here do not try to recreate any of the good looking retro games
so full of shit it's unreal. there are a ton of retro games that look like dogshit and can be easily surpassed by nearly anyone, but even putting that aside, nobody takes inspiration from things they think are shit. of course people take inspiration from and try to recreate the quality of the retro games they think are good, it's just that their ability is lacking compared to their taste. countless people take inspiration from the cream of the crop stuff like Silent Hill or Vagrant Story or insert PS1 game here, but few are able to match it because one amateur solo dev isn't able to meet the quality of an entire team of seasoned professional artists
I suppose you can go above and beyond those expert artists from back in their prime though, since you're obviously some kind of demigod art master on a plane above all us plebs

yes they can, they just need to actually practice art so they get the tools required for making stuff.
i was dogshit at art but have practiced for years until i got good at it. do you think people at big studios or those who made amazing games just were born like that? of course you can always be better and at some point you do need to make stuff, but what I am saying is that people here do not actually try to practice at all. you just open blender and try to make something that looks like your inspiration and then say "good enough". this is fundamentally no different from cris who refuses to learn properly.

After much thought, I have decided to drop down my current game engine, Cocos Creator, and migrate to Defold. Cocos was historically strong at 2D, but today it seems even abandoned compared to 3D. Also, the lack of any meaningful community outside China is tough. So I am going back to my roots. I think it has been 4 years or more since the last time I used Defold, it seems to have matured a lot. Goodbye, TypeScript, and welcome back, my sweet Lua.

I thought about doing it, and have a webbuild ready, but I heard there was basically no point if you game is on steam ans itch plays basically don't convert to wishlists even with a button in your game. people play games on itch because they want to play free games? or at best are other devs who want to support you. maybe if you hit the front page for a month it would help a little.

we are living in an era in which every single idea guy has access to tools straight out of science fiction. they can just describe their ideas to their computer, absolutely no effort beyond that and it will turn their ideas into something and it is somehow STILL not enough.
nothing will EVER be enough because even just properly working out your idea requires effort and it will always be easier to daydream about success and telling people about your vague idea of an idea than to actually WORK. remember those "ai artists" from two or three years back trying to convince everyone that ai art is art and that their "prompting" is a real skill?
they're almost all gone, they all moved to something else because they got BORED. their prompting lost its novelty. same thing will happen with these ai idea guys who are "one shotting" their games and making unplayable garbage that will never amount to anything. they will be gone too.

>design requires manually creating many buttons
>try to dynamically handle it
>oops it requires this one thing that must be manually added
If I go through the trouble of dynamically handling it I must create variables that handle this data and I must adjust code for it to know which data is relevant. Or I can go back to the manual method of creating all these buttons and simply attach the correct thing.

AIEEEEEEEEEE! Automatic or manual both methods will be a hassle!!!! Why even waste my time with it being handled dynamically when I end up having to do a different part manually? I may as well just do it manually from the start, both methods are a hassle. The first is more tedious but once done is done. The latter has more odds of a simple mistake creating a bug until I stumble upon it.

It's extremely obvious that every grifter on twitter showing how they wasted $3000 bucks to prompt a "real game" and show how good AI is now don't actually play games. They are literally larping what they think games look like because of either what they saw on youtube or what they remember of that time their parents bought them a PS1 when they were a kid.
With that said, when they are all gone the technology will still be there to be used by real devs, especially those good enough to use without being noticed

>>
>>583739704
Kek, funny you say JSON since most of the data is loaded from a CSV file. In either method there is one piece of data that must be added from within the engine, CSV or JSON won't work for this Cris. I either create the buttons manually and simply attach it. Or I create a convoluted method by which I add the manually handled data to an array which it will then automatically attach as needed to the dynamically handled data.
>>

That's already happening now and accelerating. A youtuber I watch on rare occassion, some funny guy, ends up being a programmer and posted a vid admitting AI wonned in the sense that if you don't use it, then you will fall behind. He probably even lurks here. It's the second non gamedev youtuber I suspect is secretely a gamedev. In short he ended up stating there is a right way and wrong way of using it, he has come to the same conclusion as some of us have but simply don't say anything so as to gatekeep it for as long as possible. However since he obviously has nothing to lose (likely a good salary and big bucks from youtube) he is going to post vids explaining how to use it. Fuck me, unlike the useless "hahaha we can 1 shot a complete game in a single prompt" this guy is actually useful and about to teach hundreds of thousands/million how to use AI the right way.

Thanks so much for playing. The red pentagram overlay should be camera distortion. My concern is that there might be too many "types" of anomalies and that might be confusing to some. My playtester just spammed purifies so I added a 10% to spawn a new anomaly whenever you od.

Is s&box worthwhile if I just want to create some worlds from my sketchbook and paintings in 3D to explore and make lightly interactive? No intention of publishing anything. It looks like a good approach into Source 2 and I'm sad I missed out on gmod and Source mapping and modding in general so I thought S2 would be fun but I see there's a lot of controversy around the platform.

if your intention is "i want to use the same tooling valve does" it's not really that since garry decided to take the different tech they'd used for their s2 games so far and just kinda made a weird chimera. it has hammer 2 level editor tho which is good.
many 2026 indie devs still cope with older tech like trenchbroom or hammer 1 integration with their engine of choice.

raylib with a high level wrapper, feels like enginedev but without the drag of low level C++ or C autismo.

Raylib and Nim are amazing, and they generate a 2MB binary.

Most raylib commands are a singe line like LoadTexture, so is very easy to use.

the problem with vr dev is you have to compete with vr chat which already lets all the weirdos run around as big breasted anime girls or muscular furries while they jump from game lobby to game lobby.

>>
>>583757492
Its already illegal to reverse engineer a game while having access to the original codebase and AI is essentially doing that. When an AI reverse engineers something its not a clean room reverse engineering.
However AI already violates every IP law so nothing will be done.
Maybe if the big guys in the industry sue over it.

>Maybe if the big guys in the industry sue over it.

AI reverse engineering is genuine creepy to watch in real-time:
>hook it up to game, give it access to play as a human would
>needs to find a specific flag with no clues
>nothing immediate, begins diagnosis
>spam opens the pause menu 7 times
>saves 980000 flags
>walks 1 step forward, reopens pause menu, closes it, walks forward 1 step
>repeats it 30-ish times within seconds
>suddenly its narrowed it down to 6 flags
>deduces the 1 correct flag by reasoning through process of elimination without any further testing
2026 and it's already this good; imagine 2030 and beyond. I am cumming. All my favorite games can be decompiled and then I can continue developing them on my own exactly as I wanted to do when I was 12.

Theres no way Nintendo won't sue eventually if someone keeps doing it to switch 2 games.

I can imagine suiting up a lawyer in these early days of AI copyright laws you might make a lot of money being the early cases where bad actors weren't afraid to reverse engineer your game and release it because its so early and they are cocky right now; in the future after lawsuits by AAA devs they might be too scared to be so gun hoe at it.

As long as what you’re animating is humanoid just use mocap.

It’s dusty and busted now, but there’s a whole generation of people around 25-45 within a 200km radius of Wisconsin that were traumatized by it, and will spread around any reference to it online, because it’s like a core memory that never gets referenced because most media people aren’t from the Midwest.
It’s so big in such a small room that I can’t even find an image that shows the entire thing at once; if you’ve never been you’d have to look up a video. It’s like this Godzilla vs Kong thing, but with this fantastical carnivore version of a gigantic sperm whale fighting a kraken, with a tiny fisherman on a boat caught buffeted between them. The staircase/tour path forces you to walk by their eyes, both of which are way bigger than a child. Legit if you ever meet someone from the Midwest, ask them about it and watch them get a 1000-yard stare and tell you about how scary walking past the eye was.
It’s one of those things that will mean nothing to most people but the people that recognize it will be like moths to a flame.

your marketing genius astounds me kanna. cant wait to see that loli malfoy low poly model

It’s weird seeing Malfoid in the mainstream now, when it’s like a 3+ year old meme from rokosbasilisk/aicg. Next you’ll tell me people are suddenly obsessed with lore from TNG.

very nice. you should consider leaning into thalassophobia but instead of showing the monsters too early just tease the players with them like have them semi transparent in the water that the player can't be sure they've seen them. spielberg didn't show the shark in jaws 45 minutes into the movie

Spooky. Is it an actual enemy or just something to keep player wandering too far into the ocean?

Oh shit that thing is scary.
I watched a video which showed the sheer scale of it, that's nuts lol.
Yeah that gives me some ideas thanks anon!

Definitely! The final ocean is going to be murkier this is justa test map, he'll be much further out too.
Might make it so it only patrols near the surface during the night or storms otherwise he'll stay deeper and you'll only run into him if you're diving in.
Was thinking about putting like a sunken military vessel or something similar near his patrol location which would be full of end game gear. That or have him patrolling near a big oilrig that you can reclaim.
Not sure yet.

Thanks! Actual enemy but a very difficult one to fight.
Most of the weapons don't work under water so for an unprepared player its basically impossible.
Working on some more sea vehicles too, on the rowboat you'd stand no chance.

These threads hold a lot of butt-hurt. People seem to hold grudges over minute events for years.

AI is okay and writing boilerplate. But I have to read through everything to make sure it didn't fuck up which is annoying.

Not a bad idea, but I peg you as more of a trendsetter.

Every time I try to lean too hard on an LLM, it’s amazing for the greenfield part but eventually gets stuck on a bug that should be minor but confuses it for hours where it completely fucks up the project trying to fix it.

you don't have a game
