I don't think this game is for me. I have thousands of hours spread across the classic mmo's like swg, swtor, wow, etc and this one doesn't have some of the stuff I think is important. You don't really group with people, you matchmake and silently run through a dungeon then the group breaks. Even guilds I'm looking at are mostly like that. You're expected to use macros, but macros were against ToS and would get you banned in classic mmo's. The auto-run feature is the same, if you automated the diuscovery and searching aspects of quests you would get banned. These are a perfect microcosm of what I think is wrong with the game: there's no immersion, there's no stopping to smell the roses. I don't like these one-minute dungeons with one lorebook, I want to explore and read stories about people.The game has fancy graphics, both characters and environments. But graphs don't make a game have staying power. People continue to log into old games like swg fanmade servers and wow private servers and the like because they love the world, they love exploring.The combat is also much less satisfying, which is he number one thing ultimately. Even if you don't care about anything else I've said, the bosses and dungeon designs so far in this game are just baby's first mmo. It's stuff like stepping out of basic red zones or lasers. Some of the mechanics in classic wow are magnitudes more complicated. But with complexity comes satisfaction. You have to study to learn the mechanics, and you have to fail some number of times before you get the hang of it, but when you do, there is a delayed satisfaction. You had to use your brain, and then you accomplished the task. There's no using your brain in this game. Which is why I'm respectfully bowing out, but I wish the best to those who stick it out because there are things they do enjoy about the game.I test pretty much every mmo that comes out, and I will continue to do so. But most of the recent ones have similar issues.

I’ve been enjoying the gameplay a lot more once I hit 30 and figured out chains and macros on assassin. Also think the pet system is superior to how most mmos handle mounts. Map design and zones are comfy. Only issue I see is that the MSQ is an absolute drag with filler after filler after filler, yet somehow it’s mandatory.I’m sure they’ll drop the ball at max level.
