There was one day in 5.1 where Narby Ruka had a fight with her mom to try to lure her to the beach, and she hid in the beach waiting for her mom. When her mom came at night, she said "You are too late", meaning she saw herself die.

They just hoped they could have keep selling them, while the balance issues would somehow resolve themselves. Even after the nerfs, they first released Karen who solved the e-shields, while increasing pierce clit ceiling just as much as elemental, then Wakki who perfectly stacked with Bungo. Only after that did they realize how deep of an asshole they put themselves into, and stopped pandering to the clit pierce completely.

The closest thing to Ruka being uncomfortable with men, was in AB2 when they mentioned Otonashi, and it sounded less like she was uncomfortable and more that she was disappointed that the AB girls interested in men.
